Hello today I'd like to talk about charitable habits and donations. These days more people want to help humans who haven't got enough money and things (like clothes, food) to live and that's great!
Because some of people decided to make fundraising events for charity. On them people may donate whatever they can!
In lots of countries people try to help each other by charity, for example last year Russia was on the 30th place in list of "Donation to charity" with the number of 46% of people who donate one or more time in a year.
On the third place was USA with the number of 59%, on the second place Kenya — 61% and on the first place Indonesia — 68%. So our big country needs to donate to help more. :)
In fact, women donate more often than men but men donate more money than women. From February 2022 to February 2023 service "Dobro. Mail.ru" was investigating the number of people who donate money on its platform. And researches showed that about 52% of women donated and 48% of men. But men's number of money was more than women's.
People between 25-40 years were donating that time. I think that women donate more because they're more in care economy of Russia than men. Lots of women work in social ways — at school, in hospitals and helping people for them is like the aim. If they can help, they will.
Mostly people in Russia donate for children with disabilities. Some funds on TV usually tell about each kid with his or her disabilities and people often help, also people donate for elderly people (my school every year asks students to donate some things that we don't need to) and sick or homeless animals.
Lots of teenagers are volunteers so they usually help in some events or certain people and that's great too! But you don't need to be a volunteer if you see someone who needs help.
If you can help someone, you shouldn't be afraid — maybe your help will save someone's life.
