Hello, Ann! I have found 2 photos for our school project “The best New Year holiday”, but, unfortunately, for technical reasons, I cannot send them now. I would like to discuss them with you anyway.
Well, I think that the first photo can be used for our project because it shows a woman, standing near the Christmas tree and the snow is falling. And the second picture is also useful because it shows two people, sitting on the sand and looking at the sea. They are wearing Christmas hats. So these pictures present different ways of spending New Year holiday: in a cold country and in a hot country.
I think that both ways of spending New Year holiday have their advantages and disadvantages. One aspect that I consider to be an advantage of spending your holiday in a cold country is that you can make a snowman. What's good about spending your holiday in a hot country is that you can swim in the sea.
However, the downside of spending the New Year holiday in a cold country is that it can be too cold and you need to wear gloves and hats. And the disadvantage of spending the New Year holiday in a hot country is that you may get a sunburn.
As for me, I would prefer to spend the New Year holiday in a cold country. This is because I like to play snowballs.
