Nowadays, it is well known that spending free time is an essential part of people's lives. I am working on the project “how teenagers in Zetland spend their free time” and I have found some meaningful information for it. The results of a survey are presented in the table.

According to the data in the table/pie chart, the most popular way of spending free time for teenagers in Zetland is hanging out with friends, which comprises 47%. The second most common option “watching movies” makes 20%. By contrast, the least favoured item “reading the same book and discussing it” makes only 5%.

As further analysis of the table reveals, hanging out with friends is almost a 10 times more popular way of spending free time among Zetland teenagers than reading the same book and discussing it. This great difference between the key figures shows that reading books is considered to be boring for many teenagers.

Obviously, one problem that can be connected with ways of spending free time is that teenagers might not have enough time for all the activities that they can do in their spare time. Evidently, to solve this problem teenagers should choose one activity that they like the most and spend their spare time on it.

In conclusion, it seems that different ways of spending spare time play a significant role in the life of teenagers in Zetland. In my opinion, the best way of spending free time is watching films because it is interesting and can be beneficial for learning foreign languages.
