Roadmap for Waste Dumps

Krasnodar, 29 October – Yug Times. The Krasnodar region needs to significantly increase the pace of implementation of the 'waste reform', stated Dmitri Patrushev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, at a meeting with the region's governor on the construction of solid household waste treatment facilities. According to Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, the situation is complicated by the region's tourist specialisation. The deputy prime minister and the regional governor inspected the landfill in Novorossiysk from a helicopter. Currently it is overfilled, but it continues to receive waste. Its reconstruction is planned within the framework of a ‘road map’. Dmitri Patrushev and Veniamin Kondratiev also inspected the construction site of a waste management complex in Varenikovskaya village.
