Previously, this huge building housed a branch of the Siberian Institute of Applied Chemistry. Its engineering and scientific staff worked day and night for the benefit of the scientific potential of our vast Homeland, in the field of organic and inorganic chemistry. Now this building is empty. In the corridors and laboratories, once flooded with the noise of business, you can only hear the howling of the wind through the gaps in the windows and the rustle of papers scattered everywhere.
However, since the emergence of the quarantine zone and the general evacuation of the population, this dilapidated building has not lost its interest in scientific circles and not only. Various extraterrestrial objects were discovered at the lower levels of the institute, some of them were not found anywhere else. For example, in the corridor between the laboratories of Building A, the K-56 object was discovered, later called the "living magnet".
The study of these objects has become the goal of numerous scientific expeditions. However, not all of them were successful. The entire territory of the institute, and especially the interior, is dotted with deadly anomalous formations. Many researchers who tried to get there remained there, becoming eloquent proof that science, comparatively, like art, requires sacrifices.
