There are various natural disasters in our world such as volcanic eruptions, forest fires, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods and others. But today I want to tell you about the biggest tornado, which is called "Tri-State Tornado".
This tornado happened on March 18, 1925. In addition to the tornados, there were strong thunderstorms and hail. In this photo, you can see what territory the tornado captured.
It was one of the longest and deadliest tornado outbreaks in human history has caused at least twelve extreme tornados and swept through states such as Missouri, Southern Illinois and Indiana.
A total of 751 people were dead and 2298 were injured. There are also a lot of people who lost their homes and more than 80% became refugees.
This tornados completely took everything with them, even animals, people and cars. The tornado lasted about 7 hours.
It also covered a distance of 352 kilometers.
Immediately after that, hospitals from St. Louis to Evansville had many injured and dying people, but many, unfortunately, died quickly. Nine schools in three states were destroyed, killing 69 students.
A lot of houses and bridges were destroyed, and transports were damaged.
Many people tried to do something, but everything was unsuccessful.
