Forest fire is one of the biggest problems nowadays.
Every year there are about 10.000 huge wildfires on Earth, and we don't know about small fires which happens every day.
The largest fires occur in Australia because of hot climate and high temperatures in the summer. Russia is in 8th place of the number of forest fires per year. It usually happens in the Krasnodar region and in Siberia.
But not only the climate and nature affect the appearance of forest fires, most often it is influenced by humans.
When someone go to the picnic or go camping and light a bonfire, they often forget to put it out. The fire spreads quickly through the grass and then moves on to the trees. This is a very big problem because a fire kills the environment and its inhabitants.
But lots of people don’t understand that wildfires are really dangerous for them. For example it’s more dangerous for people who leave near forests. When fire starts there is smoke, which makes it difficult to breathe. People with diseases of the respiratory system are particularly affected.
So, how can we deal with wildfires?
- at first, when you want to make a fire prepare a special place for it. Make a circle of stones is the best variant.
- Secondly, never leave the fire unattended.
- And finally, before leaving, don’t forget to put out the whole fire and also you need to level the ground a little after the fire, remove stones and sticks.
That’s all for now. Be careful and never get distracted near the campfire!
