Lesson Outline:
1. Warm-Up (10 minutes)
Introduction: Greet the students and ask them how they feel about starting a new school year. Encourage them to share if they’ve made any new friends so far.
Group Discussion: Divide the students into small groups. Ask them to discuss the following questions:
- Why is it important to make new friends?
- What are some qualities of a good friend?
- How do you approach someone you want to be friends with?
2. Idioms about Friends and Friendship (10 minutes)
Introduction to Idioms: Explain that idioms are expressions with meanings that aren't always obvious from the individual words. Today, they’ll learn some idioms related to friendship.
Idioms and Definitions:
