ПОДНОШЕНИЕ ШРИЛЕ ПРАБХУПАДЕ В ДЕНЬ ЕГО ВЬЯСА-ПУДЖИ 2024г. (на английском)
Dear Srila Prabhupada,
nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate bhaktivedānta-svāmin iti nāmine
namas te sārasvate deve gaura-vāṇī-pracāriṇe
nirviśeṣa-śūnyavādi-pāścātya-deśa-tāriṇe
"I offer my respectful obeisances unto His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda, who is very dear to Lord Kṛṣṇa, having taken shelter at His lotus feet. Our respectful obeisances are unto you, O spiritual master, servant of Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī. You are kindly preaching the message of Lord Caitanyadeva and delivering the Western countries, which are filled with impersonalism and voidism."
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to you on this all-auspicious day of your divine appearance in this world.
In your letter to Malati of 28 May, 1968, you wrote:
“Krishna and His representative is the same. Just like Krishna can be present simultaneously in millions of places. Similarly, the Spiritual Master also can be present wherever the disciple wants. A Spiritual Master is the principle, not the body”.
You also explained in your letter to Karandhara of 29 January, 1976:
“The murti of the Spiritual Master should be treated as good as the Deity. Saksad-dharitvena samasta-sastrair, uktas tatha bhavyata eva sadbhih/kintu prabhor yah priya eva tasya, The guru should be treated as good as God. This is stated in all the sastras. The difference is that God is master-God and guru is servant-God. So the installation ceremony for such a murti should be similar to that done for other Deities. All Temples can have this Deity if they like”.
and encouraged another disciple on 13 January, 1977:
“I have no objection to your worshiping my murti for Guru Puja. … you may worship one murti of myself privately in your room”.
And then you also the following assurance in your letter to Brahmananda of 15 Nov 1969:
“So far as I am concerned, in relationship with my disciples who are so kindly cooperating with me in the matter of my rendering service to my Spiritual Master, for them I am always ready to come back from Goloka Vrindaban, if they are not delivered along with me”.
Dear Srila Prabhupada, nothing is as cherished, inspiring, and life-giving for your disciples and followers as your tangible presence in any of your transcendental forms. You, ever-present in your books, recordings, instructions, documented pastimes, and your transcendental persona and example — were, are, and will always be the actual force behind ISKCON’s strength, purity and unity, and the actual source of your disciples’ faith, determination and patience in serving your mission and your instructions.
On the all-auspicious occasion of your appearance in this world 128 years ago, please allow me to offer you, as or humble homage, the Gift Prabhupada project dedicated to gifting your miniature brass murti to everyone of your disciple still living in this world before you call on them to rejoin you in Goloka Vrindavana.
To fully invoke your presence in the murtis, each of them will come accompanied with a replica of the jackfruit tree under which Lord Krsna arranged for you to appear 128 years, alloyed with the coins donated for your books in the 25 counties you visited, and blessed with your promise for your dear disciples “to come back [for them] from Goloka Vrindaban”.
I pray that this humble offering will please you and your disciples so you may wish to make yet another appearance in their lives and to lead them back to where you came from for them — and all of us — in Kolkata 128 years ago.
Thank you very much.
a servant of your servants,
Madana-mohan dasa
