. The CA3046 is a Bilateral Switch IC from Intersil/Harris Corporation. It consists of two N-channel enhancement mode MOSFETs and is designed to provide efficient signal routing and power switching in many systems. The device is capable of switching both AC and DC signals and offers low power consumption. It is available in a 14-pin DIP package. The CA3046 is a general-purpose operational amplifier that provides an active two-port network in a single integrated circuit package. It has high input impedance, low noise and low power consumption, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including sample-and-hold circuits, signal conditioning, signal gating and pulse width modulation. The CA3046 features include low input bias current, high input impedance, low output capacitance, low power consumption, and wide dynamic range. It is also protected against ESD, latchup and reverse-bias conditions. The device is mainly used in signal conditioning and analog switching applications for audio, video, and medical equipment; computer and telecom systems; and robotics.
