What are the common crushing methods?

At present, the crushing of ore mainly relies on the action of mechanical force. The following are the common ones:

1. Crushing method: Use the pressure when the two crushing working surfaces approach the material to crush the material. The characteristic of this method is that the force gradually increases and the range of force is large.

2. Splitting method: Use the splitting force of the sharp teeth to wedge into the material to crush the material. Its characteristic is that the range of force is relatively concentrated and local rupture occurs.

3. Breaking method: When the material is crushed, it is broken and crushed due to the bending force concentrated in the relative direction; the characteristic of this method is that in addition to the splitting force at the point of external force, it is also affected by the bending force, so it is easy to crush the ore.

4. Grinding method: The crushing working surface moves relatively on the material, thereby generating shear force on the material. This force acts on the surface of the ore and is suitable for grinding fine materials.

5. Impact method: The crushing force acts on the material instantly, so it is also called dynamic crushing.

The
crusher currently used often has several crushing methods acting together at the same time to crush the ore.
