NX-profi

Description of the application features

This application is developed in Visual Basic using the NX Open API software interface and is intended for use in Siemens NX CAD systems, starting from version 2000. The user interface style is identical to the Siemens NX CAD style.

The application uses a coordinate system in which the X-axis is directed against the flight, the Y-axis is directed upwards, the Z-axis is directed towards the left side of the aircraft.

The application allows you to model the following parts made of aluminum alloys: ribs, tail parts of ribs, sock diaphragms, slat diaphragms, docking racks between parts of ribs and spars, which are part of the following units:
wing, flap, aileron, aileron trimmer / servo compensator, slat, stabilizer, elevator, elevator trimmer / servo compensator, keel, rudder, rudder trimmer / servo compensator.

Using this application allows you to reduce the time for modeling the ribs of the listed units tenfold.

During the modeling process, it is possible to perform on all parts of the ribs:

· Rifts of three types according to GOST 17040-80;

· Rift type 1 along an arbitrary trajectory based on a pre-prepared sketch;

· Round-shaped flanging of three types and round-shaped stamping according to GOST 17040-80;

· Oval-shaped flanging of three types and oval-shaped stamping, taking into account the requirements of GOST 17040-80:

· Free-form flanging of three types and free-form stamping, taking into account the requirements of GOST 17040-80 on the basis of a pre-prepared sketch;

· • Cutouts of the four most commonly used types for stringers according to OST 1 03948-79 (including with the formation of undercuts for stringers shelves);

· Undercuts at the junctions of the part with the spar belts and median undercuts according to OST 1 52468-80;

· Openings in the metal sheet at the corners of the convergence of the bent shelves of the part.

You can place the above-mentioned stiffness elements (except for arbitrary shapes) on the surface of the part in various ways:

· At a specified interval;

· With a minimum interval, taking into account the requirements of GOST 17040-80;

· According to the specified list of distances;

· Evenly along the part, taking into account the approximate set interval;

· At an arbitrary point.

After performing all the operations specified by the user, the program generates a reference set MODEL containing the body of the received part. The image of the part is optimized according to the NX working window and is located in the "Isometry" system view. When most windows appear offering to select an object, a prompt appears in the bottom line of the window to clarify the query.

In parallel with the work in this program, you can perform operations in NX – orient and optimize the image, perform measurements, etc.
