Sony Xperia used to be quite popular back in the days, Xperia phones used to be kinda good, and just like Samsung Galaxy & iPhone, Xperia used to be premium not only in terms of design, but in specs, too, showing an owner has a good taste in phones. Now situation has changed drastically, Xperia is dying, almost no one wants Xperia, they're overpriced much, despite having inferior specs compared to flagship phones, and Xperia is becoming even more inferior to them, at first, removing TOF, and then removing optical zoom, after that even display has been significantly degraded from 4k to pity 1080p, and now telephoto camera doesn't even have AF in Xperia 1 VI, bezels are too big even in 2024, phone is too tall for its screen. Sony literally offers nothing worthy, still slow 30w (which does not even come with a phone), not even a cable in the box, and all that even will cost you significantly more than competitors. At least, unlike Sony, Samsung & Google can offer you long software support

Also, Sony is trying to force PC users to have, which is not going well. At this point, Sony should've not let daughter companies to release exclusive PS games for PC. And now stocks are falling drastically.

In conclusion, I can claim that Xperia 1 VI is a total overpriced garbage, Sony Xperia phones are going to die if Sony keeps going this way, and considering Sony's recent actions, Sony might unironically go bankrupt.
