Rumours suggest Xperia 1 VI is going to be a new king of optical zoom. From the other side, it is going to lose 4k screen, but it'll still have the highest ppi among flagship phones.
Apparently, Sony is changing their design after continuous years of unchanged design & screen-to-body ratio. Also, as we know from rumours, it's going to have 1.5x brighter display compared to Xperia 1 V. Based on rumours, it might have optical zoom up to 7x. Considering Xperia1 V gaming edition has 16GB RAM, most likely, Xperia 1 VI might only offer 16GB RAM, because Sony used to only offer 1 RAM option for all storage options. It'll have 5000mAh battery capacity, but considering 8 gen 3 is more efficient than 8 gen 2, battery performance is going to be improved, anyway. No rumours suggest faster charging so far, therefore, we will unlikely see anything faster than 30w this year for Xperia.

Xperia has been inferior to other flagships in most aspects, considering that, even if it has 7x optical zoom, it's not worth its money, it's still inferior to the best flagships, it doesn't even have laser AF or TOF sensor, it still only has obsolete design with huge bezels, only significant advantage over other flagships is that this phone has 3.5mm jack.
