There is a single rescue number in Russia. This is 112. Using it you can call an ambulance, firefighters and police officers.
The police are not very common on the streets of our city during the day. They can patrol the city at night. If a tourist wants to contact an officer, then he will need to go to the police station.
As for medicine, we have a lot of large and small hospitals that are much more common. The main one is located near the city center and has two buildings. That's about my city.
Also in our city there is a general rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It includes firefighters and rescuers. In our city there are several departments where they are located.
What is special about our city is that there are few dangerous places in it, but this does not mean that you do not need to watch the road. There are many places where people and cars can move.
We have a river next to which we need to be careful because of the strong wind.
In Russia there are several volunteer groups that help special services. Basically they help with searching and helping people.
