Tour to Tsaghkadzor – the Gorge of Flowers – has always been a great resort for exclusive ski holidays in Armenia. Tsakhkadzor is a truly majestic getaway, where the beauty of Mother Nature appears in all its variety.
The history of this little town dates back to the 4th-5th centuries. The historical name of the town was Kecharis, which means birch grove. Carved out of the forest situated on the foot of Teghenis Mountain Tsakhkadzor is considered to be Armenia’s premier ski resort town. It is famed for its winter sport activities and is a real paradise for skiers and mountaineers from Armenia and all over the world. We will also do a ride with the rope way of Tsaghkadzor.
Then we will drive to Dilijan. Walking along the Old Dilijan complex (Sharamberyan Street) we will come across with many museums, souvenirs’ markets, small shops and so on. We will also observe two traditional houses built of wood, with tiled roofs and balconies with meticulously carved being typical examples of Dilijan. Admire the tranquility of lake Parz. Afterwards you will have chance to admire the 10th century Haghartsin monastery, which has been recently renovated by donation of Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery when visiting it. Drive to back to Yerevan.
