Personally, I do not like gaming phones, however, they still make sense & must exist. They might not be as good as flagship phones in most scenarios. Even if you are not a lover of mobile gaming, you could choose gaming phones for other strengths, they tend to be more durable, they have better efficiency, they have better audio quality, they are designed to have better cooling system, meaning it will be more convenient to hold them during summer, and most the most important - they have 3.5mm jack.
It is a matter of preference, but gaming phones must not die out mainly solely because they still have 3.5mm. Some people do not want to charge their headphones at all, some people want a phone with long battery life. In almost all other scenarios flagships tend to be significantly better.
