OUR GROUP HAS STARTED, HURRAY! What we have covered today at the lesson:
- We have got acquainted to each other, starting with working in pairs. The task was to find as many similarities as possible. WOW! We have found so much in common!!!
- We have talked over the key targets for the course, we also have set up our own targets based on our needs and the level of skills.
- We have discussed the first topic, happiness (a set of questions, 2 min presentations, pair work).
- We have got acquainted to the IELTS style requirements (see the materials below).
- We have assessed one essay, based on the requirements (see the STYLE CHECK LIST below).
- We have discussed and practiced the some useful vocabulary.
- The HW task is to write a discussion essay.
