It's not a secret that nowdays the humanity has faced a huge problem of pollution. The main point of this posting is conveying the idea that not everything is lost yet and that no matter how crazy your ideas may seem, they can serve as keys to great inventions.
Now let me talk you through one of my greatest ideas.
You've all probably heard about the hydrogen bomb, but not everyone has heard about the hydrogen engine. The thing is that due to strong chemical reactions the oxygen interacts with hydrogen and it triggers an explosion — this is the way a hydrogen bomb works. Water is also formed as the result of the reaction.
Where I'm going is that usually petrol engines the exhaust fumes of which pollute the atmospere are used. The principle of operation is as follows: petrol is burned to obtain the necessary energy, and fumes with high proportions of carbon dioxide are given off. But when using an hydrogen engine after the release of energy (in this case electricity), the ordinary water is just what would remain after the reaction. Not only it's environmentally-friendly, it runs on an inexhaustible source of energy so the hydrogen engine would absolutely serve the interests of our descendants.
Unfortunately, now it's hard to imagine this engine in action as it's still exposive. Maybe we just need a nudge in the right direction to make up the solution to this problem.
