Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subsidiaries to collect performance data, analyze their strategic and business plans, and evaluate performance against predetermined targets to identify any gaps
- Prepare detailed performance reports, including analysis and gap identification
- Perform external analysis, such as industry and macroeconomic trend assessments, within the managed sector to stay informed about the latest market and industry developments
- Conduct internal analyses to evaluate subsidiaries' capabilities and performance / positioning in comparison to external factors
- Perform gap analysis based on internal assessments and prepare corresponding reports
- Collect board packs from subsidiaries, review them, and report key findings to the Head of Portfolio
- Analyze company performance sensitivities and screen potential acquisition opportunities within subsectors
