I would like to describe a touchscreen phone that I stopped using in 2023. I was given a phone with Internet access a long time ago, in 2012. It was in my hometown in Russia. 2. I started using this technology because all my classmates were on social media, and it was convenient to open these social networks on a mobile phone. In addition, I wanted to play games on my phone, like Doodle Jump, or to watch funny videos on YouTube. 3. I decided to stop using my smartphone because I was very tired of the endless stream of information in it. Social media made me anxious and unable to concentrate. I often checked for notifications on my phone for no reason. So one day I deleted all social networks and did not go back to them. 4. My job was connected to a laptop, and giving up the phone only made me feel better. Of co

4. My job was connected to a laptop, and giving up the phone only made me feel better. Of course, the browser, mail and website for work were on a laptop. I bought a push-button phone for emergency calls. I feel great without a smartphone, I am an adult and I am not interested in mobile games. Additionally, I wish others would think about the number of gadgets that consume their attention and life time.
