"Dayte tank (!)" is a Russian music band which consists of 5 people. This band has quite a long story of creation and growth, but I am here to talk about the main aspects.
Every music band has its own genre (and, by the way, there are usually many of them), so it would be better to start with the description of the group. If you ask the members of "Dayte tank (!)", you will hear only one answer from each of them: "Garage rock for introverted dancers who miss the Russian language". Sounds like a great literary quote, but I will list the basic genres and styles of this group. So, it would be post punk, punk rock, garage rock, alternative rock, indie rock and, of course, electronic music.
These genres may seem quite rebellious, but the main feature of this band is their texts of songs. Members were right when they mentioned people who missed the Russian language, because "Dayte tank (!)" are able to write texts about all of us. They talk about things we may not usually think about, and, moreover, those thoughts are familiar to ours. Everyday problems, difficulties with self-awareness lie in guitar riffs, and are also intertwined with a huge number of metaphors and references. Sounds fantastic, doesn't it? And that is why at least I recommend you reading their lyrics even if you are not a big fan of their genres.

But what about the group composition? As I mentioned earlier, there are 5 members in this group: Dmitry Mozzhukhin's vocals and guitar, Alexander Timofeev is responsible for the wind instruments, Viktor Dryzhov is on drums, Maxim Pseudonym is on guitar and Sergey Raen is on bass guitar. A huge variety of musical instruments gives their listeners the opportunity to choose their favorite album according to their music preferences, because there are always some predominant tools in each album.
This music band appeared in 2007, when Dmitry Mozzhukhin and Alexander Romankin decided to let children’s hobby grow into something more. Since 2011 "Dayte tank (!)" started to release their own albums, but they gained the main popularity in 2016 with the album "Radio fire" (you might know the song "The morning"). Their concerts became more popular, and in 2019 they visited the Russian program "The Evening Urgant". They still release new albums, and many songs in them become quite popular.
