During the years of independence, radical reforms have been implemented in all spheres of state and public life in Uzbekistan. In particular, as a result of them, the necessary conditions have been created to ensure a healthy and dignified life of the people, education of physically and spiritually healthy young generation. Today, the health care and protection of children, the promotion of public health and the upbringing of a comprehensively developed generation have been prioritized in State policy. By the end of this year, it is planned to develop a national strategy "Population Health - 2030", and much work is being done in this direction. Samarkand State Medical University has set a number of goals in realization of the above mentioned tasks.
On November 24-25, Samarkand State Medical University hosted an international scientific and practical conference entitled "Pediatrics and pharmacy: an international rally for the health of children and adolescents" to discuss issues of child health and pharmacy.
Leading scientists and researchers in the field of fundamental and clinical medicine, pediatricians and pharmacists of our republic, as well as more than thirty specialists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, UAE and other foreign countries took part in the conference, which started its work in the large conference hall of the hotel "Samarkand Regency".
Rector of SamSMU Zhasur Rizaev, who made a speech at the solemn opening of the international forum, noted that the organized conference is of great importance for the development of cooperation and discussion of issues in the field of pediatrics, preventive health care and pharmacy, and wished success to the work of the conference. Speakers paid attention to topical issues of the sphere, presented their developments in the field of disease prevention programs among women based on modern methods of pharmaceutical research, early diagnosis and protection of maternal and child health, formation of healthy lifestyle skills, effective disease prevention, introduction of high-tech and innovative methods at the plenary session.
On the second working day of the international conference it was planned to hear presentations on topical issues in such areas as "Bioorthogonal chemistry in biology and medicine", "Carbon nanostructures: Das Glasperlenspiel (G. Gesse)?", "Features of the clinical course of hemorrhagic vasculitis in children", "Clinical course of pneumonias" in children complicated by carditis" and a number of others.
