European vegoils- Palm oil eases on slowing exports

GDYNIA, December 12 (LSEG) - Palm oil on the European vegetable oils market eased on Tuesday because of slightly lower Malaysian palm oil futures and slowdown in November Malaysian palm oil exports.

Asking prices for palm oil were between five and $15 a tonne lower on weak exports data at the end of November and December 1-10. Drop in production and lower palm oil stocks in Malaysia at the end of November offset disappointing exports data.

At 1700 GMT CBOT soyoil futures were between 0.06 and 1.02 cents per pound lower tracking dips in Chicago soybeans on a weaker dollar and because of lower energy prices.

EU rapeoil was offered between 10 and 15 euros a tonne lower on the back of lower CBOT soybean and soy oil futures. A weaker dollar and energy prices also weighed.

Coconut oil was offered between unchanged and $30 a tonne lower following weakness in palm oil and rival oils, while a weaker dollar limited losses. Plamkernel oil remained flat.
