European feeds-Soymeal firmer with futures, strong export demand
Gdynia, December 11 (LSEG) - Soymeal on the European meals and feeds market was mostly firmer on Monday, following rallies in CBOT soybean and soymeal futures on technicals and because of strong export demand for U.S. soybeans.
South American soybean meal was offered between $8 a tonne higher and $19 a tonne lower, pressured by a stronger dollar and due to the favorable weather outlook in the Argentine soybean belt. Worries about Brazilian soybean contitions limited losses.
EU rapemeal was offered between one and five euros a tonne higher with rapeseed futures on the back of a strong Chicago soy complex. A stronger dollar also supported prices.
