ICE canola futures rise on soy strength, crusher buying
WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Dec 11 (Reuters) - ICE canola futures rose on Monday, following soyoil and soybeans higher.
Crusher buying added to canola's strength as margins improved, a trader said.
Most-active March canola RSH4 rose $12.60 to settle at $679.60 per metric ton.
January-March canola spread, the most active inter-month spread, traded 12,206 times.
Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures Sv1 climbed as concerns re-emerged that drought conditions in Brazil are having a detrimental effect on crops.
Euronext February rapeseed futures /COMG4 also finished higher.
