But also in Great Britain, North America, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina this game is famous too.
In Hurling teams play with wooden sticks and ball. Every player has a wooden stick called Hurley. The ball for game Shlitar is made from leather with a cork inside.The main goal is to get more points than rival team. There is a women version called Camogie.
This sport can’t be similar to others, it was created from football and baseball.
Hurling has a long history. Only neighbour villages could play this game.
Sometimes the game could continue from some hours to some days. It was so amazing.
So in 1879 the Ireland Hurling Union was organised. And in 1884 this game became an official kind of sport.
The main event in world of Hurling- Ireland Hurling championship, which is held every year since 1887.
The final game is held traditionally in September in Dublin on stadium Croke Park. Once l hope I will watch this game on stadium. Goodbye!
