Malaysia's October exports fall 4.4% on-year, less than forecast
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Malaysia's exports fell 4.4% in October, less than expected, government data showed on Monday.
October's exports had been expected to decline 5.1%, according to seven economists surveyed by Reuters. Imports in October fell 0.2% from a year earlier, data from the trade ministry showed, verses a 9.7% decline expected in the poll.
Malaysia recorded a trade surplus of 12.87 billion ringgit ($2.75 billion) in October.
