ICE canola falls to 4-1/2-month low

Oct 31 (Reuters) - ICE canola futures extended losses on Tuesday amid weak demand:

January canola RSv1 fell $9.40 to $678.10 per metric ton, its lowest close since mid-June.

Farmer selling is slow with the harvest almost done, while export demand remains weak, one trader said. Canola looks oversold with a lot of short-selling driving it lower, he added.

Malaysian palm oil futures fell for a second straight session, while CBOT soybeans Sv1 were 7 cents higher at $13.14-1/4 a bushel.
