Предтечи- таинственная древняя раса, исчезнувшая из известной галактики более тысячи лет назад.
Предтечи были здесь до нас, но мы не знаем, кто они были, откуда пришли или даже куда ушли.
Они обладали высокоразвитымитехнологиями, которыепродолжает превосходить технологии всех текущих космических цивилизаций.
О Предтечах известно очень мало. Они были расой существ, которые заселяли известную Галактику, Нимбус и, видимо, несколько других. Они создавали огромные сооружения фантастического масштаба и мощи, управляли огромными энергиями для питания этих сооружений и преодолевали огромные расстояния благодаря своему мастерству гиперпространственных перемещений. Что касается других достижений Предтеч, они ушли в небытие со временем, но известно, что Предтечне были коренными обитателями этой галактики.

Несмотря на их огромную мощь и потрясающие способности, осталось очень мало следов их культуры и цивилизации, только обломки, засоряющих области глубокого космоса. На планетах редко обнаруживаются поселения Предтечей, и ни один из обломков, оставшихся в глубоком космосе, не является жилым или культурно значимым. Те несколько остатков, что представляют интерес, усиленно охраняются автоматическими защитниками, нападающими на любых нарушителей.
The Progenitors

THE PROGENITORS are a mysterious ancient race, who disappeared from the known galaxy over a millennia ago. They possessed highly advanced technology that continues to surpass that of every current space-faring civilization.
Credited with the invention of hyperspace technology, relics from the Progenitor era continue to say the course of galactic events. Notably, the warship Sajuuk was used by the Hiigarans to break the siege of Hiigara, and unlock the Great Network of Hyperspace Gates.
Still, little is known about the origin of the Progenitors, or their disappearance from the known galaxy.
The Progenitors were here before us, but we don't know who they were, where they came from, or even where they went.
They arrived in our galaxy thousands of years before us, and we still see and feel their influence.
Their empire spanned nearly the entire galaxy, and they left behind many relics, including the Great Network of Hyperspace Gates, the three Hyperspace cores, and variety of detritus and debris that hints at their power and alarmingly, raises questions about what happened to them.
With our arrival in the Nimbus galaxy, we have discovered that the Progenitors resided here too.
Very little is known about the Progenitors, who were a race of beings which colonized the known Galaxy, Nimbus, and apparently several others. They built immense structures of fantastic scale and power, commanded enormous energies to power these structures, and crossed tremendous distances through their mastery of hyperspace travel. Whatever other accomplishments the Progenitors were capable of, these are lost to time, but it is known that the Progenitors were not native to this galaxy.
For all their immense power and awesome capability, very little of their culture and civilization remains outside of the ruins littering areas of deep space. Progenitor settlements on planets are rarely discovered, and none of the ruins left in deep space appear to be habitats or culturally significant structures. The few ruins of interest appear to be viciosly guarded by automated defenders that attack any intruders.
