Statement: young people prefer Internet communication to personal contacts.
Nowadays lots of young people prefer using Internet to communicate with their friends, parents, teachers and so on. Sometimes that's more comfortable than a personal contact, but this preference often causes problems when it comes to a real life. Anyway, I suggest you talking about it a little bit deeper.
Look at a typical teenager. What does he usually do during the day, except for studies? Right! He's surfing the Net and chatting with his friends online all the time! Doesn't he speak to them enough at school? Imagine: no, he doesn't! Often teens prefer communicating online to a real dialogue because it's easier to reach the aims of this dialogue when they don't see person's reactions and emotions and don't have to control their behavior. So young people prefer using the Net when they have to talk to somebody.
But there are some teens who like real communication. They enjoy walking and visiting their friends and love being around people. All of us are different, and it's alright - it makes our life more interesting. It should be like this: we have a right to prefer something, but only if it doesn't cause serious problems.
