Урок 8. Hello

Цель: знакомство с главными героями учебника.

Задачи:

  • Закрепить новый материал.
  • Развивать навыки аудирования, чтения и говорения.

1. Организационный момент. Речевая разминка.

- Hello, everyone! How are you doing today? Natasha, how are you? Stepa, how is it going?Lena, are you OK today?

- All right, guys. Now I want you to ask each other how you’re doing today. Who wants to be the first?

2. Фонетическая разминка.

Раздел First steps to reading.

- Read after me. Ok? The whole class, please. Masha read the sound [ʃ], will you? Anya, read the next one, please. Sound [f]. And the last one. Sound [tʃ], Artem, please, could you?

1. Актуализация знаний.

Работа с карточками. Работа с алфавитом.

- Now, you play a game " I have ..., Who has...? " Start with letter A. Here we go.

2. Постановка целей.

- In today’s lesson we’re getting to know our course characters. Look at my cards.

3. Работа по теме урока.

Знакомство с героями.

- Who’s this? Nanny Shine. - Yes, this is Nanny Shine. Say hello to Nanny Shine.

- Who’s this? Larry. - Yes, this is Larry. Say hello to Larry.

All characters should be mentioned. After getting to know the course characters, you can practice grammar constructions. Make children ask each other the same way. For example,

- Who’s this? - This is Sasha. Say hello to Sasha.

Now point to another child and ask:

- Who’s this? - This is Masha. Say hello to Masha.

You may make children ask the questions:

- Kate, ask Peter who this is.

Write the number 18 on the board or show a flashcard. Then open your own book and show Exercise 1 on page 18.

- Look at Exercise 1 on page 18. Read the names after me, please. Now, one by one.

Write down the names on the board. Make the children match the names to the cards.

7. Динамическая пауза.

Play any music and make children dance.

8. Закрепление изученного материала.

Write the number 19 on the board or show a flashcard. Then open your own book and show Exercise 3 on page 19.

- Who can you see? (Answers). They like singing and dancing. Let’s listen to their song and see what it is about.

- Read the song after me.

- Now, one after the other, please. Starting with Vanya.

- Well done! Listen to the song again and read it to yourselves. Try to catch it as we listen to it. Shall we sing the song all together?

Sing the song as many times as you can.

10. Рефлексия. Подведение итогов.

- I’m afraid it’s time to finish our lesson now. Could you, please, name the course characters that you have known today. Who do you like most? What task did you like?

Assess the children.
