60 young leaders from five countries met on Ulyanovsk land to discuss topical issues in the media field together.

Sergey Lavrov prepared a video greeting for the camp participants. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stressed that the camp has established itself as a sought-after, dynamically developing platform for interaction between ambitious young people representing various professional fields.
Personally, the camp participants were greeted by the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Alexey Russkhikh, who noted that the role of BRICS is increasing every day and the merit of youth in this process cannot be overestimated.
"Today, BRICS is almost the main mechanism of advanced changes in world geopolitics. Our union is based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and like-mindedness. I would like you to adhere to these principles in the work of the Camp as well. A whole week of intensive collaboration awaits you. Of course, you will find new friends and partners here with whom you will continue the dialogue for many years."
The Minister of Youth Development of the Ulyanovsk region Artem Miroshnikov said that the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region took the initiative to hold a BRICS youth summit in the Ulyanovsk region. The initiative was supported by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. Taking into account all the experience accumulated by the region in organizing events related to the youth agenda of the BRICS countries, the region has every chance to host such a large-scale event.
Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Youth Federation Tong Li Cheng also addressed the participants.
About the Camp
The BRICS International Camp is being held in Ulyanovsk for the third time.
The key theme of this year will be the development of new approaches to promoting BRICS among young people by attracting young professionals in the fields of journalism, IT, and web design of the BRICS countries.
The camp participants were young journalists and specialists in information and communication technologies and graphic design. The expert community is represented by media industry professionals from all five countries.
The organizers are the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Project Office of the International Youth Cooperation "Russia - BRICS", operating based on the Foundation for Creative Industries of the Ulyanovsk region, the Ministry of Youth Development of the Ulyanovsk Region, the Regional Information Resource Fund, the Ulyanovsk Regional Organization of the All-Russian public organization "Russian Union of Youth" with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and the A.M.
