Our first word today! 1.Glasses [ˈɡlɑːsɪz] [n plural] -two pieces of glass in a frame that people wear to help them see better. Or another definition: two small pieces of special glass or plastic in a frame worn in front of the eyes to improve sight. Example: She has blonde hair and she wears glasses. I sat down next to a small man with glasses and a beard. Has anyone seem my glasses? I usually wear contact lense, but I sometimes wear glasses when my eyes are tired.
