Deloitte’sFinancial Advisory Services Department provides strategic and financial services to clients through every phase of the economic cycle, as well as offerings in all the critical areas, including from corporate finance, M&A transactions, business valuations, debt restructuring services, finance raising and others, with a focus on helping clients add value to their business. We help companies with buy side and sell side due diligence, and also to create, execute and realize value from their transactions.
The role will involve:
- Participating in due diligence projects related to business acquisitions or sales;
- Working under the supervision of a Senior Consultant or Manager;
- Gathering and analyzing financial and non-financial information on companies targeted for purchase or sale using various sources (IFRS or statutory financial statements, accounting records, management accounts, contracts with key customers, suppliers and banks, interviews with management);
- Assisting in developing analytical tables and drafting financial due diligence reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance;
- Good knowledge of accounting and finance;
- Strong written and verbal communication both in Russian and English;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- An inquisitive nature and the skills to focus on detail;
- The ability to work under pressure.
The following will be recognized as an advantage:
- Work experience in corporate finance or audit (preferably in Big Four or other global advisory firms);
- A GPA minimum of 3.0-3.5;
- Studies for professional certifications such as ACCA (preferable), CFA or CIMA;
- The desire to build a long-term career in finance.
