A gap year in Japan? Of course yes!

A gap year is a great chance to take a break from school and try new things. I would choose to spend mine traveling, as it’s a perfect way to explore new cultures, meet people, and grow. My dream gap year would be in Japan, a country that mixes ancient traditions with modern life. I’d visit Tokyo’s busy streets, Kyoto’s peaceful temples, Hokkaido’s snowy landscapes, and Okinawa’s tropical beaches. I’d like to join tea ceremonies, learn basic Japanese, and try famous foods like sushi and ramen. Also I really want to see iconic places like Mount Fuji, the Fushimi Inari Shrine, and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial. To plan my trip, I researched travel blogs, videos, and articles about Japan. I found stunning photos of cherry blossoms, neon-lit cities, and calm bamboo forests. Websites like Japan Guide and Inside Japan Tours gave me tips on traveling, finding affordable stays, and experiencing local culture.
