Dear friends, You can imagine another game mentioned above. Just pretend that you have a crossword puzzle in your hands, but not to guess some general or specific words according to their description. I mean to write something on the lines in Russian according to the Russian interpretation, or in English according to the English meaning. Just try to understand what it is and where it could be used in your vocabulary, for example, when you see some things around. For instance, you have definition in Russian something like this: Стол - это предмет мебели. You can learn this simple word in English as 'a table'. Then you can develop your memory by keeping in mind almost a similar word 'a stable' which means 'конюшня' or if it is an adjective - 'стабильный'. The next - 'a cable' meaning 'кабель' / 'провод'. You can also learn 'able', which is an adjective 'способный' / 'умеющий' / 'могущий' and 'unable' - 'неспособный' vice versa. And so on: 'a sable' - 'соболь', 'a fable' - 'басня' / 'миф'
