Karl Lagerfeld is one of the most famous German fashion designers, photographers, collectors and publishers. He was born in Hamburg in 1933.
In 1965, Lagerfeld became the main designer of the French brand Chloé and began collaborating with Fendi. 18 years later, Karl became the main designer of Chanel. In 1984, Lagerfeld founded his own brand.
