RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To build the Data Management framework in line with best international practices and Group requirements,
- To cooperate with ADCB UAE on determining and agreement on data management requirements/practices, development of data strategies, internal planning and external communication,
- To develop, implement and manage data-related strategies, principles, policies, and procedures,
- To initiate the bank data management standards,
- To launch the data-related reporting in line with Group and local requirements,
- To collaborate with business units on data governance and data quality,
- To lead the identification and implementation of automated tools for data governance, data quality and enterprise metadata management to ensure greater visibility of bank wide data.
REQUIREMENTS:
- English at advanced or at least upper-intermediate level
- Proficiency in office applications (MS Office)
- Knowledge of All main bank business processes and products
- Knowledge of data management and internal control tools
- Knowledge of quantitative analysis tools
- Higher education in economics / finance / mathematics / risk management or related disciplines
- Additional certifications in IT and statistical tools are an advantage
- Work experience - at least 5-7 years in operational risk management / data management / internal control / IT security, including at least 2 years in a senior position
- Practical experience in developing and implementing risk strategies and tools
- Strong analytical, strategic planning and decision-making skills
- Initiative, to be able to drive the projects alone, if needed.
