Task 3. You are going to give a talk about learning foreign languages. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes (10–12 sentences). Remember to say:
- why lots of people learn foreign languages nowadays;
- why you have chosen to do the English exam this year;
- what you did to prepare for your English exam;
- what your attitude to learning foreign languages is.
You have to talk continuously.

I am going to give a talk about learning foreign languages. Nowadays lots of people in the world learn different foreign languages. Most of them begin to learn them at school because a foreign language is a school subject. Adults also learn languages for work, especially English, as it is an international language. I have chosen to do the English exam this year because I know the language rather well. I like English and I have been learning it for seven years. I tried to prepare for my English exam well. I read texts, did a lot of grammar exercises, wrote emails and did other tasks. In my opinion, learning foreign languages is very useful. Those who know them can communicate with foreigners and enlarge their outlook. That’s all I wanted to say about learning foreign languages.
