I believe they suit our project ,,Time to choose a career’’ in the best possible way as both of them are devoted to this topic. In the first picture we can see a girl playing doctor. She seems to be giving a mock injection to her teddy bear. The second picture shows a group of adults sitting at a table and taking notes. The place looks like an office, and the lady at the head of the table seems to be a career advisor.
The main distinction between the pictures lies in the fact that they present different times for choosing a career. In the picture on the left we can see choosing a profession at a younger age whereas the picture on the right presents deciding on an occupation at an older age.

To my mind, both ways of choosing a career have their benefits and shortcomings. Looking on the bright side, choosing a job in your early years leaves you plenty of time to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge while plumping for an occupation in your mature years allows you to make a conscious and well-informed choice.

On the other hand, children and teens may well misunderstand and misinterpret their real aspirations, and so risk having to retrain at an older age. As regards those putting off their career decision till their adulthood, they risk living on the breadline or sponging off their parents for too long.

Personally, I am dead set against mooching off my parents for too many years. So, to be able to pay my own way as soon as possible, I’d far sooner choose my career while still in my teens.
