Первое в мире рождение с использованием технологии Fertilo от компании Gameto

Traditionally, women face a lengthy hormonal stimulation course lasting between 10 to 14 days to mature their eggs. The Fertilo technique employs engineered young ovarian cells to replicate the natural maturation process in a lab, replacing approximately 80% of the procedures required in conventional IVF. This innovation reduces treatment duration to just three days while minimizing side effects and risks associated with high hormone doses, such as ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. According to Dr. Luis Guzman, the study’s lead researcher, this method enhances the safety and comfort of the process for patients, delivering outcome

Luis Guzman, the study’s lead researcher, this method enhances the safety and comfort of the process for patients, delivering outcomes comparable to traditional IVF with reduced complication risks. The mother of the child born using this technique noted that the procedure was less painful and emotionally more comfortable than standard methods.

Researchers believe that this new technology opens promising prospects in reproductive medicine, paving the way for accessible and safe solutions for those struggling with infertility. The Fertilo method has already been approved for use in several countries, including Australia and various Latin American nations. Plans are in place for regulatory approval in the United States, Japan, and Paraguay.

Currently, the company is also monitoring ten additional pregnancies resulting from the application of Fertilo, marking a significant advancement in women's reproductive health.
