Joey Jordison - the best example for drummers

Joey Jordison (26th April 1975 - 26th July 2021) was an American musician. He became famous because of entering nu-metal band Slipknot and his playing the drums. Almost recently, he became the fastest drummer in the world, and his achievement was written in Guinness Records Book. First, Joey was the ordinary child from the large family where he was the only boy. By the way, his real name was Nathan Jonas Jordison. He first became interested in hard music when he had watched Ozzy Osbourne's concert, but his favourite band was Kiss. "Kiss are one of my favourite bands," he said, "and Peter Criss was one of my favourite drummers when I was younger.". The most important event in his career was creating Slipknot with Shawn Crahan and Paul Gray. According to plenty of photos and video, Joey interacted with fans as if they were his friends. It was roughly the same way he interacted with the other members of Slipknot as well.

Well, I suppose that Joey advertised his wares not on his own. He sold merchandise on his projects with the help of his colleagues (Crahan, Gray and others in Slipknot and Wednesday 13 in Murderdolls). Though, will you deny that Joey sold a lot of things with the subject matter of his bands? I guess you won't.

Actually, in his lifetime, he used a lot of social media to alert fans of any releases or just to share photos of himself and fellow bandmates.

Unfortunately, Jordison passed away in 26th July 2021 of transverse myelitis. It's the kind of disease where your spinal cord stops working and you can't move properly anymore. A lot of Slipknot fans really miss him, so am I. To this day, a lot of fanarts with him are drawn and his social media photos are used instead of avatars.

Finally, I can say that I still follow Joey's accounts on social medias and read his posts. Also, I always listen Slipknot songs from the albums that he recorded.

That's all I wanted to tell you about. Thank you for listening to me!
