- Read the instructions on the pants label. This is the most basic step when you want to buy a pair of jeans. This is so that you can find out how to wash them, the temperature of the water used, and also the ironing instructions.
- Ideally, newly purchased jeans should not be washed until at least 6 months so that the color does not fade quickly.
- Soak the pants in cold water, and avoid using hot water as it will make the pants fade quickly.
- Avoid using laundry soap that contains too harsh chemicals. We recommend choosing baby soap because it contains fewer chemicals. This will prevent your jeans from getting damaged easily.
- Avoid exposing your jeans to direct sunlight.
- Also, don't forget to turn the jeans inside out before drying them.
- Especially for black jeans, add a little white vinegar to keep the color black.
- Store the pants by hanging them with a hanger. It is recommended not to fold the jeans as it may cause fading of the jeans at the crease area if stored for too long.
- Avoid using dry cleaning or machine drying.
- When ironing, try to turn the pants over first, and don't iron them when they are still damp because it will cause mold that makes the jeans deteriorate quickly.
