Начать статью хотелось бы с повторения частей речи в английском языке, которые так часто забываются. Однако , хочу зацепить ваше внимание на том, что разбирая значения слова, знать прилагательное это или существительное , крайне важно, особенно в данном посте.
Читая статью , вы можете встретить неизвестные вам слова, и перейдя в словарь , вам предложат несколько вариантов значения , в зависимости от того, какая это часть речи. Соответсвенно, не понимая , какая часть речи представлена в вашем предложении, вы не сможете коррекно понять контекст прочитанного.
Parts of speech:
Noun (существительное)
Nouns are a person, place, thing, or idea.
Pronoun (местоимение)
Pronouns stand in for nouns in a sentence.
Verb ( глагол)
Verbs are action words that tell what happens in a sentence.
Adjective ( прилагательное )
Adjectives describe nouns and pronouns. They specify which one, how much, what kind, and more.
Adverb (наречие)
Adverbs describe verbs, adjectives, and even other adverbs.
Preposition (предлог)
Prepositions show spacial, temporal, and role relations between a noun or pronoun and the other words in a sentence.
Conjunction ( соединительные союзы)
Conjunctions join words, phrases, and clauses in a sentence.
Articles and Determiners (артикли и определители)
Articles and determiners function like adjectives by modifying nouns, but they are different than adjectives in that they are necessary for a sentence to have proper syntax. Articles and determiners specify and identify nouns, and there are indefinite and definite articles.

Interjections are expressions that can stand on their own or be contained within sentences.
Examples: ah, whoops, ouch, yabba dabba do!

Noun

- noisome- very unpleasant and offensive
- familiar - easy to recognize because of being seen, met, heard, etc. before
- associate- to connect someone or something in your mind with someone or something else
- pluck - to pull something, especially with a sudden movement, in order to remove it

She frequently tweets out verbose diatribes split across dozens of messages; she once tweeted 34 times in 32 minutes.
Prolix
Adjective
- (of speech or writing) using or containing too many words; tediously lengthy.
Glossary:
- crisp- hard enough to be broken easily
- borrow- to take something from someone with the intention of giving it back after using it
- during- from the beginning to the end of a particular period
- ultimate- most important, highest, last, or final
Examples:
His haughty attitude provoked one of his soldiers, Bernal Díaz del Castillo, to write a prolix account of the conquest 50 years after the event.
The earliest poems are prolix , or full of what Motion calls "word eruptions", but he finds the later poems strike a "balance between the murkiness and the clarity".
Motormouth
Noun
- a person who talks quickly and incessantly.

- dawn- the period in the day when light from the sun begins to appear in the sky
- especially- very much; more than usual or more than other people or things
- evidence- anything that helps to prove that something is or is not true
- decade- a period of ten years
- respectively- (of two or more items) with each relating to something previously mentioned, in the same order as first mentioned

Of the regulars, Eddie Murphy nails most of the best lines in motormouth style, and one lightning exchange with the gingerbread man ("What you talkin' about, cracker?") is so subtly clever I was initially unsure if it was deliberate or not.
Garrulous
Adjective
- excessively talkative, especially on trivial matters.

- appear- to start to be seen or to be present
- coin- to invent a new word or expression, or to use one in a particular way for the first time

Periphrasis
Noun
- use of a longer phrasing in place of a possible shorter form of expression

Circumlocution
Noun
- the use of many words where fewer would do, especially in a deliberate attempt to be vague or evasive.

- firmly- in a way that will not become loose
- evasion- the act of avoiding something or someone
- There's no way | around it | to find a way of dealing with or avoiding a problem- нет никакого варианта обойти это.
Examples:
He shuddered at his own craven circumlocution, using so meaningless a word to obscure so hideous a truth.
She was weary of repetitions, weary of circumlocutions, weary of everything.
