Small town Big Dreams

Cricket was Chaudhary's favorite sport when he was growing up in Pardodas village in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. Chowdhury told CSK TV, "When I was young, the big guys didn't let me bat or bowl, but I used to field the whole day. The situation in my house was not very good. There was no club or anything in my village, so it all started with a tennis ball. In the fourth grade, my father put me in a boarding school because my village did not have much education facilities.”

Playing cricket was a secret well-kept from his parents

As Choudhary grew from a young boy to a teenager, he took admission in a boarding school in Pune in 9th class. He further said, “I didn't tell my parents, but I started focusing on cricket. When my name appeared in the newspapers, I told them. Then my father said okay but keep on studying, because a lot of people play cricket.” After two years the speedster played Ranji Trophy (for Maharashtra). Until he got selected for the state, only his brother knew that he was playing cricket professionally.
