Volleyball was created by William Morgan, who's a teacher of physical education at one of the colleges of Holyoke (USA).
In 1895, at one of his lessons, he hung a net and told the students to throw a basketball over the net.
In the 1920s, the national teams of the federations of Bulgaria, the USSR, the USA and Japan appeared.
