Разница между over/above- только для over характерно движение.
Например, fly over, walk over, throw over.
I threw the ball over the fence.
The plane flies over our house.
I walked over the bridge.
Когда одна вещь выше другой( на более высоком уровне), используем above.
The ceiling is above my head.
The light is above the table.
При касании/соприкосновении с поверхностью используем on(на)!
The book is on the table( книга касается стола).
В чем разница между under/below?
under- одна вещь покрывает другую
Your legs are under the table.
I found my watch under the sofa.
The titanic is under the sea.
below- вещь на более низком уровне(позиции).
above=below(антонимы по значению)
My nose is above my mouth. My mouth is below my nose.
Death valley is 86m below sea level.
underneath/beneath(below)-более формальный вариант
My legs are under the table.
My legs are underneath the table.
The door is below the window.
The door is beneath the window.
