Learning languages has become very popular for the last few decades. Different methods are used to master one or several languages. I am currently working on a project whose aim is to determine how people in Zetland prefer to learn a foreign language. Below, I am going to analyze the data I have found on this subject. (57 words)
As can be seen from the bar chart, just over half of the respondents (51 percent) choose to attend a course or work with a tutor. The percentage of those who listen to music is almost twice as low (26 percent). Another key feature of the results of the opinion polls is that only an insignificant number of the people surveyed (1 percent) write a penpal in a foreign language, which places this method at the bottom of the diagram. Further analysis indicates that watching films in a foreign language and chatting with international friends are less favored by Zetlanders, with the former way holding third position in the chart and the latter ranking fourth. The difference between these methods is 2 percentage points – 12 percent and 10 percent respectively. (50 words)
However, there is a problem connected with learning a language: it takes much time and effort to know it to perfection. Fortunately, a simple way to solve the problem can be suggested: one can learn just the basics of a language to be able to communicate. (46 words)
I think that despite some problems language learners may face, speaking a foreign language plays an important role in the modern world because it helps to develop relations between countries. (30 words)
