Information about the director
"Podsnezhnik" dance school was established in 1988 on the basis of a middle dance school as additional education for children. The first achievement was on May 7, 1992: "Podsnezhnik" became the Winner of the festival "Vladivostok spring".
At the basis of teaching choreography is model of Russian classical choreographic schools. Teaching technique was developed by Kulik Galina Stepanovna during the years of her work as the methodologist at choreographic school of Vladivostok.
Former ballet-dancer who refused from her professional ballet career because of the family, kept addicted to dance through teaching ordinary children classical school of dance. She adapted Russian classic school of dance and made it approachable for pupils of usual high school. Time makes its own adjustments, this applies to dance too. Feeling children’s interest in modern style of dancing, Galina Kulik was the first on the Far East who organized and conducted laboratories devoted to modern styles of dancing. Her name remains in the history of dance and mentioned in Russian books dedicated to Choreography. Her contribution to education of children was highly appreciated by President of Russian Federation by presidential reward – presidential medal Galina Kulik is the honorary worker of the general education of Russian Federation, the teacher of the high category.
Since September 1st, 2015 her dance school "Podsnezhnik" belongs to "House of Pioneers and Students of Leninsky region of Vladivostok".
Since January 25th, 2016 The House of Pioneers renamed “Tvorchestvo” which means “Creativity”.
